Yes, I really did meet and photograph David Michael Kennedy. It was kind of like meeting Oprah. not that I’ve met her but if I ever do, I’ll be prepared for that surreal type of experience. I’m out the door for now so I’ll save the story for another time!

Day 2 of #365 – Domestication in Suburbia- Project #365
This is day 2 of project 365. This is part of a portfolio I’m working on entitled, “Domestication in Suburbia”. It’s about my life in the Burbs. Yup, life with two kids, a house I’m quite dispassionate about cleaning, a fifteen year old blind mutt and an umeployed hubby who drives me crazy, despite the fact I adore him. If you’re wondering, “Is she serious?’, I will tell you that’s not relevant. I found this sweet little Polly Pockets with a piece of star cereal to her head and I thought, “Put in her a in blue raku bowl and that would be awesome!”
The problem with being a part of project 365 (where you document each day with a photo) is that I felt everyday I had to go this amazing shots. No more, I’m going for mediocrity and I’m going to photography the absolute mundane things of everyday. Just watch, a few years down the word some one will call it “fine art” and the you and I will both have good laugh.
Image of the Day – 365 Day 1 Here We go Again – My Hero
There is a project entitled Project 365 and Photographers all over the world commit to taking one image a day for 365 days. You can follow doznes if not hundreds of photographers with the hashtag #365 or #project365 along on Twitter using the app Tweetdeck. It’s amazing, inspiring, and makes you want to push yourself as a photographer. So I started it before and and just got side tracked, so here I am ready to give Project 365 one more shot. This time I’m opening myself up to doing different kinds of work such as mixed media, etc. Here’s my Hero Athena.
